Our Mobile Apps have arrived!

GolfTripGenius.com has gone mobile! Our iPhone and Android apps are now available for download on iTunes and the Android Market. GolfTripGenius.com Mobile works in combination with the existing GolfTripGenius.com cloud based app toolkit to further enhance group golf trips. There is no cost for GolfTripGenius.com Mobile, as it is included with our Basic and Genius editions.

Download the app, login to your GolfTripGenius.com account, and you’re ready to go.

The most exciting function of GolfTripGenius.com Mobile is the ability to enter scores on a hole-by-hole basis while on the course. A player in each foursome can enter scores from an iPhone or Droid as the round progresses, or scores can be quickly entered at the 19th hole. After all scores are entered, the leaderboard can be calculated and displayed. Imagine seeing the results of the skins tournament, the Ryder Cup singles match and the individual Stableford, all as you’re enjoying a drink after the round.

To make things even more interesting, all in-progress scorecards are viewable by all foursomes at any time. That’s right, the GolfTripGenius.com Mobile serves as a real-time leaderboard. How’s the foursome ahead of us doing? How’s the foursome behind us doing? The in-progress scorecards of all foursomes are viewable at any time by all players, and one can scroll from scorecard to scorecard.

Besides entering scores and viewing all scorecards in real-time, GolfTripGenius.com Mobile has a number of other important features to make managing golf trips easier and more fun:

• Photos can be uploaded to the trip photo gallery directly from a camera shot or from photos already stored on the phone. All players can log in and upload photos.
• Pairings can be updated, based on who is actually playing with whom. This automatically changes the scorecards.
• Player information is available on the phone. Can’t find Joe at the airport - just click to call. Need to find emergency contact info - it’s at your fingertips when you need it.
• All photos in the trip photo gallery are viewable on the phone. This is a great way to share photos among all the players on your trip, whether right after the round or at the dinner table for a few laughs.
