Do I need to download any software to use GolfTripGenius.com?
No, the software runs in the cloud. You just access our site with a web browser.

What browsers are supported and recommended?
We support Mac and PCs (XP, Vista or Windows 7). On the Mac we support Firefox and Safari. On the PC, we support FireFox, IE 8 and IE 7 and we recommend them in that order. If you are using IE 7, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to IE 8 at www.microsoft.com. We do not support IE 6. Our software uses many web 2.0 features that are not supported in IE 6.

What about printing?
Whenever you click on a print button, such as printing a tee sheet, we always generate a PDF file. You can then print the file, “print” to a fax driver, or save the file for emailing.

What are Resort Partners?
Any resort can be listed on our site. Some resorts are “resort partners” of GTG, which means that they are co-sponsors of our site and have a business relationship with us. Your email address and name, if you registered on our site, is provided to our resort partners and to other GTG partners, but to no one else. Additionally, resort partners have access to our site and to trip data for trips at their resort, but no other trip data (i.e, to destinations other than their resort). Resort partners can communicate with golfers going to their resort through the trip message board, and they will have access to the golf schedule (pairings/view pairings). Because they have this data, they are in a better position to provide excellent service to our golfers (e.g, they know who is shipping clubs, who is renting clubs, who expects shuttle service, etc.), and can make you aware of other amenities at the resort.

Who else has access to my trip data?
Besides resort partners, we provide access to tour operators and golf professionals. These partners have access only to trip data for the trips they are managing – a tour operator who uses our service to augment its own capabilities, or a golf pro who is assisting club members in planning and managing a golf trip. If you as a golfer create a trip, your information will not be available to golf pros or tour operators.
